Cincy Reigns, a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) fundraising collective that helps Bearcats’ student-athletes in all sports monetize their personal brands, announced a collaboration with Rhinegeist Brewery to produce a unique co-branded beer.The announcement came Tuesday afternoon.The beer, which will be known as Cincy Light, was described by Cincy Reigns as “an easy-drinking light lager capturing the spirit of the Queen City.”A portion of all retail sales from the collaboration will support NIL efforts for University of Cincinnati student-athletes. Fans of craft beer and supporters of UC athletics will be able to show support for the Queen City with a crisp, refreshing lager ideal for Cincy sporting events. “We are thrilled to partner with Rhinegeist, a company that shares our passion for championing the Cincinnati community and bringing people together around a cause,” said Brian Fox, chair of the Cincy Reigns Board of Directors. “This one-of-a-kind collaboration will not only produce a delightful beer for fans to appreciate but also significantly impact the lives of the student-athletes we serve and the local charities we endorse.”Rhinegeist Brewery was founded in 2013 and is celebrating 10 years of brewing in 2023. Its name translates to “Ghost of the Rhine,” and refers to their location in the historic Over-the-Rhine Brewery District in Cincinnati. “We are honored to join forces with Cincy Reigns Collective, an organization that shares our dedication to community engagement and support for Cincinnati,” Adam Bankovich, onterim CEO of Rhinegeist Brewery, said. “Cincy Light offers not only a unique beer experience for fans, but also creates a positive impact on our community.
